Author Guideline
Guide for Writers
Submissions are accepted from authors worldwide. Authors should ensure they provide sufficient context to allow readers to fully understand and appreciate their work.
1. General Requirements
- The article must be original, has never been published, and is not under review in another journal.
- The article should focus on innovation in digital learning (applications, LMS, interactive media, AI, etc.) and literacy (reading and writing, digital, numeracy, media, information, culture, and data).
- Articles must be written in proper academic English.
- The length of the manuscript should be between 6–16 pages.
- Use APA style for citations and bibliography, supported by tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
- Manuscripts must follow the JIPDL template.
2. Manuscript Structure
The manuscript must follow the structure below:
- Title: Maximum 16 words, specific, engaging, and reflecting the article’s content.
- Author Identity: Full name (without academic titles), affiliation, and corresponding author’s email.
- Abstract: 150–200 words including objectives, methods, main results, conclusions, and 3–5 keywords.
- Section Structure: Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion.
- Bibliography: At least 30 references, with 80% from international journals indexed in Science Direct or Scopus, published within the last 5–10 years, and formatted according to APA 7th Edition.
Designate one author as the Corresponding Author, by providing:
- Email address
- Complete postal address
3. Understanding Journal Structure
Understanding journal structure helps authors present ideas clearly and effectively.
• Title
Titles should be precise, concise, and descriptive to attract readers. Use keywords and short phrases that reflect the article’s content. Avoid vague terms like "new" or "novel".
• Abstract
A brief summary of the research, including key findings and implications. The abstract should be:
- A single paragraph, max. 300 words.
- Free of abbreviations, footnotes, references, or equations.
- Include 3–5 keywords.
• Introduction
Provides background, reviews relevant literature, defines the research gap, and explains the significance of the study.
• Method
Describes the research process clearly and in detail to allow replication and enhance credibility.
• Results and Discussion
Presents research findings using tables or figures when needed. Discusses interpretations and contributions to the field.
• Conclusion
Summarizes main findings, answers research objectives, and provides suggestions or directions for further research.
• References
Only include references directly relevant to the study. Avoid unnecessary citations.
• Acknowledgements (Optional)
A space to thank individuals, organizations, or funders who contributed to the research.
Note: Articles that do not meet the submission requirements will be returned for revision. Only properly formatted manuscripts will be reviewed by the editorial team.
