Peer Review Process
The Journal of Digital Learning and Literacy Innovation (JDLLI) maintains the highest standards of academic integrity through a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process. This ensures that the research we publish is objective, transformative, and methodologically sound.
To guarantee impartiality, JDLLI employs a double-blind review system. This means that the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and the identities of the reviewers are concealed from the authors throughout the entire process.
The Review Workflow
-
Initial Desk Review: Upon submission, the Editor-in-Chief or a Section Editor screens the manuscript for alignment with the journal’s scope, basic technical quality, and adherence to formatting guidelines.
-
Plagiarism Screening: All manuscripts undergo a mandatory similarity check (e.g., via Turnitin or iThenticate). Manuscripts with significant overlap are returned or rejected.
-
External Review: The manuscript is assigned to at least two independent experts in the specific field (e.g., AI in Education, VR/AR systems, or Social Science pedagogy).
-
Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor makes a final determination: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.
-
Revision & Finalization: If revisions are required, authors must provide a point-by-point response. The Editor may send the revised version back to the original reviewers for a final assessment.
